Description: Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, women only. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees. Founded 1913. Setting: 80-acre urban campus. Endowment: $10.4 million. Community Environment: Mount Mary is one of 5 private colleges in Milwaukee. The campus is located on the northwest side of the city, about 15 minutes from the downtown area. It is within walking distance of a shopping mall and restaurants. The city of Milwaukee boasts a major symphony, well-respected dance companies, a beautiful lakefront art museum, and a fine natural history museum.
