Christian Larew Memorial Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage the entry of qualified persons into the library and information technology field. Focus: Information science and technology; Library and archival sciences. Qualif.: Candidates must not have earned more than 12 hours towards a Master of Library Science degree from an American Library Association (ALA) Accredited MLS program. Criteria: When all other criteria are equal, recipients will be selected based on financial need.

Funds Avail.: $3,000. Number Awarded: 1. To Apply: Applicant s must submit an application form; a statement indicating the nature of their library experience; letters of reference; transcripts. Deadline: March 1.
