Description:

State-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of University System of Georgia. Awards transfer associate and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1964. Setting: 220-acre small town campus with easy access to Atlanta. Total enrollment: 5,781. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 24:1. Students come from 22 states and territories, 12 other countries, 4% from out-of-state, 11% 25 or older. Core. Calendar: semesters. Academic remediation for entering students, ESL program, services for LD students, advanced placement, honors program, distance learning, double major, summer session for credit, part-time degree program, adult/continuing education programs, internships.
