Edmund F. Maxwell Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide assistance to those who have demonstrated financial need and have shown ability, aptitude and a promise of useful citizenship. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited independent college/university as freshman; a resident of Western Washington; and have a

combined math and reading SAT score of over 1200. Criteria: Award is given based on merit.

Funds Avail.: Up to $5000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed scholarship application along with the 500-word essay; official, certified high school transcript; Certification of SAT/ACT scores; and Financial Aid Worksheet (to be completed by each College/University); applicants must also submit a Free Application For Student Aid form (FAFSA) to the institution that he/she is planning to attend. Deadline: April 30.
