Earthquake Engineering Research Institute/Fema Graduate Fellowships (Graduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To support study and research that may contribute to the science and practice of earthquake hazard mitigation. Focus: Earth sciences. Qualif.: Applicant must be enrolled in a graduate degree program at an accredited U.S. college/university and must hold U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status. Criteria: Selection is based on the submitted application and materials.
Funds Avail.: $12,000 and $8000 for tuition, fees, and research expenses. Number Awarded: 1. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form along with the letter of nomination by faculty sponsor; academic transcript; a statement (maximum of 300 words) of educational and career goals; and a resume (maximum of 2 pages). In addition, two letters of recommendation must be sent by the author directly to EERI. Deadline: May 16.
