Description:

Independent Presbyterian, 4-year, coed. Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1837. Setting: 556-acre small town campus with easy access to Charlotte. Endowment: $333.2 million. Collegiate Environment:

Orientation program. Drama-theater group, choral group, student-run newspaper, radio station.
