Description: Independent, comprehensive, coed. Part of Davenport University. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees and postmaster's certificates. Founded 1866. Setting: urban campus. Total enrollment: 1,868. Faculty: 104 (26 full-time, 78 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 25:1. 452 applied, 65% were admitted. Full-time: 649 students, 56% women, 44% men. Part-time: 1,102 students, 66% women, 34% men. Students come from 15 states and territories, 0.5% Native American, 4% Hispanic, 11% black, 2% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 1% international, 61% 25 or older, 10% live on campus. Retention: 51% of 2003 full-time freshmen returned. Core. Calendar: semesters.
