Description:

County-supported, 2-year, coed. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1965. Setting: 100-acre rural campus. Endowment: $825,011. Educational spending 2003-04: $1089 per student. Total enrollment: 4,013. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 21:1. 1,250 applied, 100% were admitted. Full-time: 1,789 students, 59% women, 41% men. Part-time: 2,224 students, 58% women, 42% men. Students come from 15 states and territories, 3 other countries, 1% from out-of-state, 0.5% Native American, 62% Hispanic, 5% black, 1% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 0.3% international, 42% 25 or older, 5% live on campus, 55% transferred in.
