Artistic Scholarship Awards (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to qualified students who want to pursue their studies. Focus: Music; Visual arts; Theater arts; Dance. Qualif.: Applicants must be students pursuing higher education and career goals that focus on one or more of the arts - music, visual arts, theater, or dance; must be of Latino heritage; must be high school graduating seniors, currently enrolled in college, or adults ready to pursue college; must plan to enroll in at least two classes and attend an accredited community college, university, or technical or vocational school in the state of Nebraska or surrounding greater Omaha Metropolitan area; must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on the criteria of the Scholarship Selection Committee.

Funds Avail.: $250-$500. Number Awarded: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form available online; must have a personal essay with a minimum of two pages; must submit letters of recommendation and official high school or college transcript. Qualif.: Applicants must be students pursuing higher education and career goals that focus on disciplines other than arts; must be of Latino Heritage; must be high school graduating seniors, currently enrolled in college, or adults ready to pursue college; must plan to enroll in at least two classes and attend an accredited community college, university, or technical or vocational school in the State of Nebraska or surrounding greater Omaha Metropolitan area; must have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on the criteria of the Scholarship Selection Committee.
