Description:

Independent, comprehensive, coed. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees. Founded 1930. Setting: 175-acre suburban campus with easy access to Los Angeles. Endowment: $21.3 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $18,232 per student. Total enrollment: 1,519. Faculty: 407 (66 full-time, 341 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 12:1. 1,025 applied, 77% were admitted.
