BIA Higher Education Grants (Undergraduate/Grant)
Purpose: To provide quality services to the Hopi people by enhancing a full range of educational opportunities; to maintain efforts to increase the number of employable, degree-holding Hopi professionals; to maintain retention services which will enable students to complete programs. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students pursuing an associate, baccalaureate, graduate, or post-graduate degree; must be entering freshmen with a
GPA of 2.5 for high school course work or a minimum composite of 50% on the GED exam; must have 2.5 GPA for all college work. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.
Funds Avail.: $2,500. To Apply: Applicants must submit an official high school transcript or original GED scores; must submit an official transcript from all post-secondary schools; must submit a Program of Study (POS) or Letter of Acceptance (LOA). Educational Enrichment Awards (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To develop leadership and personal skills and acquire educational or pre-occupational experiences. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students in fifth grade through post-secondary level education. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.
Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicants must submit an official high school transcript or original GED scores; must submit an official transcript from all post-secondary schools; must submit a Program of Study (POS) or Letter of Acceptance (LOA). Hopi Education Awards (All/Award/Prize)
Purpose: To provide quality services to the Hopi people by enhancing a full range of educational opportunities; to maintain efforts to increase the number of employable degree-holding Hopi professionals; to maintain retention services which will enable students to complete programs. Qualif.: Applicants must be students pursuing an AA, BA, BS or PhD from an accredited college or university; entering freshmen students must have a GPA 0f 2.5 for high school course work or a minimum composite of 50% on the GED exam while continuing students must have an at least 2.5 GPA for all college work. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.

Private High School Awards (Undergraduate/Award/Prize)
Purpose: To encourage Hopi students to achieve and maintain a high level of academic excellence at an accredited private high school. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: High school applicants must have an eighth grade education with a GPA of 3.50 while continuing students must have a GPA of 3.25. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.
Funds Avail.: $4,000. Number Awarded: 10. To Apply: Applicants must submit an official high school transcript or original GED scores; must submit an official transcript from all post-secondary schools; must submit a Program of Study (POS) or Letter of Acceptance (LOA) (if applicable). Tribal Priority Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To encourage Hopi college students to obtain degrees in subject areas of priority interest to Hopi Tribal Goals and Objectives. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be junior and senior undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate and professional students in the areas of priority interest to the Hopi Tribe; must have an at least 3.5 GPA. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.
Funds Avail.: $1,500. Number Awarded: 5. To Apply: Applicants must submit an official high school transcript or original GED scores; must submit an official transcript from all post-secondary schools; must submit a Program of Study (POS) or Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
