Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1946. Setting: 180-acre rural campus with easy access to Boston. Endowment: $1.4 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $3593 per student. Total enrollment: 1,108. Faculty: 156 (37 full-time, 119 part-time). Application fee: $40. Comprehensive fee: $27,550 includes full-time tuition ($18,545), mandatory fees ($1590), and college room and board ($7415). Room and board charges vary according to board plan. Part-time tuition: $1,855 per course.

Collegiate Environment:

Most popular organizations: Student Government Association, Drama Club, Ski Club, chorus, Criminal Justice Club. Major annual events: Spring Weekend, Winter Semi-Formal, Harvest Weekend. Community Environment:

Paxton is located in the geographical center of Massachusetts, eight miles northwest of Worcester and a one-hour drive from Boston or Providence. Summer and winter sports are available in the area. Excellent job opportunities are available in the immediate area.
