Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, 2-year, coed. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1937. Setting: 63-acre rural campus with easy access to Chicago. Endowment: $1.8 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $4033 per student. Total enrollment: 631. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 15:1. 396 applied, 69% were admitted. 3% from top 10% of their high school class, 10% from top quarter, 39% from top half. Full-time: 402 students, 67% women, 33% men. Part-time: 229 students, 80% women, 20% men.
