Grande Prairie 4-H District Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To financially support deserving student members of the Organization who seek for continuing education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a Grande Prairie 4-H District member student and a resident of Alberta based on Student Finance Regulations who have minimum year residency in Alberta immediately prior to the application date and enrolled full-time in a post secondary program recognized by Alberta Advanced Education. Criteria: Applicants will be evaluated based on their financial need, commitment to living and working in northern Alberta for a specified amount of time upon graduation, and reasonable good prospects for employment in northern Alberta after graduation.

Funds Avail.: $1,500. Number Awarded: 2. To Apply: Applicants must submit complete Provincial 4-H Scholarship application and NADC scholarship application. Deadline: May 5.

Remarks: In partnership with Northern Alberta Development Council (NADC).

Provincial and Regional 4-H Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To financially support deserving student members of the Organization who seek to continuing their education.

Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a past or present member of Alberta 4-H Club and/or a full-time post-secondary student at an officially recognized institution. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on a set of criteria designed by the Selection Committee, made up of representatives from Alberta 4-H Council, 4-H Foundation of Alberta, 4-H Branch.

Funds Avail.: $80,000. Number Awarded: 100. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed type-written scholarship application form and must include original photo along with the official transcript request for the last year's education. Deadline: May 5.

Servus Credit Union 4-H Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for Alberta 4-H members to further education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Alberta 4-H members who have been involved for a minimum of three years; entering their first year of study at a postsecondary institution in Alberta within one year of graduation from high school; and reside in the following Servus Credit Union trade areas: Andrew, Devon, Drayton Valley, Elk Point, Entwistle, Fort Saskatchewan, Gibbons, Lamont, Leduc, Legal, Morinville, Mundare, Myrnam, Plamondon, Sangudo, St. Paul, Stony Plain and Wabamun. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on their demonstrated outstanding 4-H achievement, leadership skills, community involvement and academic standing.

Funds Avail.: $500. Number Awarded: 2. To Apply: Applicants must submit application form and the complete materials needed to avail the scholarship. Deadline: May 5.
