Vennecool, Steven Jacobs
Vennecool, Steven Jacobs (1657–1719). Dutch architect. He designed the astylar Town Hall at Enkhuizen, one of the best late-C17 buildings in The Netherlands (1686–8), and the Manor House (De Steeg) of Middachten, De Steeg (1695), with its battered basement rising from the moat.
