Hüber, Joseph (1716–87). Austrian architect. He completed (1776) Hayberger's library at Stift (Monastery) Admont, Austria (c.1745–66), and was probably responsible for the detailed designs of the interior. Hüber designed and built the elegant twin-towered façade of the Mariahilfkirche, Graz (1742–4), and worked on other buildings in Styria, including the churches of St Veit-am-Vorgau (1748–51) and the Weizbergkirche (1756–8).
