Bassi, Martino
Bassi, Martino (1542–91). Milanese architect. He succeeded Alessi at Santa Maria presso San Celso, and from 1573 worked on the rebuilding of the Early Christian rotunda of San Lorenzo, Milan. He also worked on Milan Cathedral from 1587, and at the Sacro Monte, Varallo, from 1578.
