Venezuela and Guiana floral region Part of R. Good's (1974, The Geography of the Flowering Plants) Neotropical floral kingdom, a region which has affinities with the adjacent Andean and Amazon floral region, but nevertheless constitutes an independent unit with about 100 endemic genera (see endemism).
