prolactinoma
prolactinoma (proh-lak-tin-oh-mă) n. a benign tumour (an adenoma) of the pituitary gland that secretes excessive amounts of prolactin (see hyperprolactinaemia). If the tumour is large enough it may compress and damage adjacent structures.
