K.V.S. Rama Rao told CA: "My guru Kanhayya Ram Nath—also known as Guru Siddha Nath—transformed me from mortal to immortal. After meeting my guru for the second time, poetry poured out from my heart. Hence, as an offering to my guru's lotus feet, I write poetry.
"I am indebted to my guru for showing me the enlightened path by which one's life becomes meaningful. My works are my guru's greatness. I am only an instrument in his hand."
