Born May 26, 1865, in Cheltenham, Ontario, Canada; died November 18, 1961, in Winona, NY (some sources say Canada); buried in Saddle Mountain Mission cemetery, Saddle Mountain, OK; daughter of a Baptist minister. Education: Attended Baptist Missionary Training School, Chicago, IL.

CAREER:

Worked as a missionary in Chicago, IL; American Baptist Home Missionary Society, missionary to Kiowa Indians in Elk Creek, OK, 1893-95, and Saddle Mountain, OK, 1895-1905; traveling lecturer, 1905-18.
