Born January 19, 1877, in Center, AR; died 1952, in the United States; son of Philip O. and Frances Jane (Monk) Conner; married Blanche Ethel Horne, 1907. Education: Attended Simmons College (now Hardin-Simmons University), 1896-98; Baylor University, M.A., 1908; Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, degree, 1908; Rochester Theological Seminary, B.D., 1910; Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Th.D., 1916, Ph.D., 1931.

CAREER:

Pastor of church in Tuscola, TX, 1898-99; Baylor University, Waco, TX, instructor in Latin; Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX, teacher of systematic theology, c. 1919-1949.
