SIDELIGHTS:

Alfonso G. Affinito told CA: "I began to write plays as an experiment after being, for many years, passionate and exhilarated by the great classics and contemporary masterpieces. It is an outlet to express reactions to social, emotional, and universal problems which surround the human condition. I feel that we are all common denominators in one way or another and that there is always identification found, and truth felt, in drama and comedy. The writing process differs for each play and is peculiar to each work; at least it is in my case."
