Thomas (Sabater), Juan María
Thomas (Sabater), Juan María, Spanish organist and composer; b. Palma, Majorca, Dec. 7, 1896; d. there, May 4, 1966. He studied with Daniel, Mas y Serracant, and Huré. He was organist at the Palma Cathedral (from 1914). He founded the Capella Classica (1932), with which he toured worldwide. He publ. the study Don Manuel de Palla en la isla (Palma, 1947), and composed choral works, songs, organ music, and piano pieces.
