Quentin, Jean-Baptiste
Quentin, Jean-Baptiste , French violinist and composer who flourished in the first half of the 18th century. He pursued his career in Paris, where he was a violinist in the Opéra orch. Among his works were numerous vols, of solo and trio sonatas (1724–40). His brother, Berlin Quentin (d. c. 1767), was a violinist, cellist, and composer.
