Lange, Aloysia (née Weber) (b ?Mannheim, c.1761; d Salzburg, 1839). Ger. soprano, sister of Mozart's wife Constanze. Munich début 1779 ( Schweitzer's Alceste). Vienna début 1779. Married actor and painter Joseph Lange, 1780. Mozart comp. 2 substitute arias (K418 and 419) for her for Anfossi's Il curioso indiscreto in 1783. From 1785 sang mainly at Kärntnertortheater. Sang Donna Anna in Vienna première of Don Giovanni, Burgth. 1788.
