Just, Johann August

Just, Johann August, German keyboard player, violinist, and composer; b. Gröningen, c. 1750; d. probably in The Hague, Dec. 1791. He most likely was a student of Kirnberger in Berlin and of Schwindl in The Hague. In 1767 he became a court musician to William V, Prince of Orange and Nassau, in The Hague. He wrote three operas, a Violin Concerto, three harpsichord concertos, chamber music, and many keyboard pieces.
