Fricci (real name, Frietsche), Antonietta
Fricci (real name, Frietsche), Antonietta, Austrian soprano; b. Vienna, Jan. 8, 1840; d. Turin, Sept. 7, 1912. She studied with Marchesi in Vienna, making her debut in 1858 in Pisa as Violetta. She was a principal singer at La Scala in Milan (1865–73). After her retirement in 1878, he taught voice in Florence and Turin.
