Févin Antoine de

Févin Antoine de, French composer; b. probably in Arras, c. 1470; d. Blois, 1511 or 1512. He was greatly admired as a composer of sacred music by contemporaries via works publ. in various collections. His extant output includes 9 Masses, 3 Magnificats, 3 Lamentations, motets, and chansons. Robert de Févin may have been his brother.
