Where Danger Lives
Where Danger Lives ★★ 1950
Tough guy Mitchum plays a patsy. Young Dr. Jeff Cameron is intrigued when he treats beautiful Margo (Domergue), who attempted suicide. After Jeff gets all hot and bothered, he learns that the older man (a sneering Rains) he thought was her father, is actually her husband. During a boozy confrontation, the cuckold husband winds up dead, the doc gets a concussion, and Margo insists they have to make a run for the border. The French Domergue was a sultry, but not particularly talented, protege of Howard Hughes. 82m/B DVD . Robert Mitchum, Faith Domergue, Claude Rains, Maureen O'Sullivan, Charles Kemper, Billy House, Philip Van Zandt, Ralph Duke; D: John Farrow; W: Charles Bennett; C: Nicholas Musuraca; M: Roy Webb.
