War Party
War Party ★★ 1989 (R)
During a 100-year commemoration of an Indian massacre in the Midwest, a murder occurs and a lynch mob chases a pack of young Blackfeet into the mountains before the inevitable showdown. A feeble attempt at portraying the unfair treatment of Native Americans. Un-subtle, Hollywood style, this time in favor of the Indians, and therefore un-serious. Too bad; the premise had potential. 99m/C VHS . Kevin Dillon, Billy Wirth, Tim Sampson, M. Emmet Walsh; D: Franc Roddam; C: Brian Tufano.
