Irishmen Neeson and Brosnan star as a couple of post-Civil War soldiers (film's set in 1868) in an oldfashioned and beautifully filmed tale of brutal revenge. Wounded Yankee Gideon (Brosnan) is being hunted by Confederate Carver (Neeson) and his four hired guns over a wartime horror, but he won't go easily.
