Rugrats in Paris: The Movie ★★★ 2000 (G)

There are enough pop culture references and sly humor for the parents and enough diaper, booger and barf jokes for the kids to make this entertaining viewing for the entire family. Tommy, Chuckie and the rest of the gang from the animated Nickelodeon series return for their second fulllength feature, this time trekking off to France as Tommy's inventor dad tries to fix a mechanical dinosaur at a very Euro-Disneystyle theme park. Also, Chuckie's dad Chas is wooed by the kidhating park operator Coco La Bouche (voice of Susan Sarandon), who only wants to marry him because she thinks that there's a promotionIn it for her. This all leads to a bizarre chase through Paris involving the giant dinosaur and a huge escargot. 80m/C VHS, DVD. D: Stig Bergqvist, Paul Demeyer; W: David N. Weiss, Jill Gorey, Barbara Herndon, Kate Boutilier; M: Mark Mothersbaugh; V: Elizabeth (E.G.
