The Queen's Sister
The Queen's Sister ★★ 2005
The queen would be the neverseen Elizabeth and the sister would be perennial tabloid fodder, Princess Margaret (Cohu), a funloving sort who never let royal restrictions impinge on her having a good time. Unable to marry her true love (a divorced man), Margaret settles for photographer Anthony ArmstrongJones (Stephens), eventually leading to her own divorce (the first in the royal family) and a series of controversial liaisons. Cohu is properly flamboyant but, ultimately, Margaret's life is a sad decline. 155m/C DVD . Toby Stephens, David Threlfall, Simon Woods, Meredith MacNeill, Lucy Cohu, Aden Gillet; D: Simon Cellan Jones; W: Craig Warner; C: David Katznelson; M: John Altman. TV
