POWELL, Ardal. American (born England), b. 1958. Genres: Music. Career: Self-employed maker of baroque flutes, and performer on baroque and classical flute, 1982-84; Folkers & Powell (flute makers), Hudson, NY, partner, 1984-98; Folkers Flute Co., Ltd., president, 1999-.
