Money Train ★½ 1995 (R)

Snipes and Harrelson team up again, this time as New York City transit cops (and foster brothers) who decide to rob the money train—a subway car that collects all the cash accrued from the transit system each day. To complicate matters, they're both in love with their new Latina partner (Lopez). Lame attempt to cash in on the Snipes and Harrelson chemistry leaves out one important ingredient—a competent script. The movie is almost over before the train actually becomes part of the plotline. Film came under criticism when it was blamed for a series of “copycat” arsons in which a New York City subway clerk was killed. 110m/C VHS, DVD . Skipp (Robert L.)
