Complex romantic drama set in Spain and Finland. Otto and Ana meet as children and instantly recognized each other as soul mates—their first kiss occuring over a geography book describing the Arctic Circle. When Otto's divorced father takes up with Ana's widowed mother, the nowadolescent pair wind up sharing the same house, and secretly become lovers. When Otto's mother dies, he blames himself for abandoning her and leaves Ana to become a pilot. She, in turn, becomes obsessed with being where the Arctic sun never sets, and fate, eventually, brings the adult duo together in Finland. Spanish with subtitles. 112m/C VHS .
