Le Divorce ★★ 2003 (PG-13)

Cutie blonde American Isabel Walker (Hudson) heads to Paris to support her equally blonde but depressed pregnant sister Roxeanne (Watts) whose French husband Charles-Henri (Poupard) has walked out because of an obsessive affair. Hubby insists on a quick divorce but Roxy is refusing. Meanwhile, Isabel becomes involved with Charles-Henri's worldly uncle, Edgar (Lhermitte), who knows how to begin and end an affair with aplomb (and gifts). A culture clash comedy of manners that's brittle with artifice. Based on the 1997 novel by Diane Johnson. 115m/C VHS, DVD .
