Sleazy traveling salesman Jimmy (Pearce) impulsively gets his fortune told by Vacaro (Simmons), who suffers a seizure and abruptly ends their session. After his other predictions come true, Jimmy returns and insists that the psychic tell him the rest—which is of Jimmy's death by the first snowfall. Jimmy starts to unravel as his past mistakes catch up to him, but maybe his impending doom is a selffulfilling prophecy.
