Dot the I
Dot the I ★★ 2003 (R)
Carmen (Ver- beke) is about to marry boring stiff Barna- by (D'Arcy) when she meets sexy, dash- ing filmmaker Kit (Garcia Bernal) at her bachelorette party and begins an adultery ous love affair with him. Surprisingly enough, bad things come of this love trian- gle, including Barnaby's angry jealousy and Kit's inability to separate his personal life from his work. Add in some additional plot twists that turn the last part of the movie from romantic drama into unpredictable noir, and what you get is a fluffy, hollow movie with little sense of direction. 92m/C DVD . US SP GB US Gael Garcia Bernal, Natalia Verbeke, James D'Arcy, Thomas (Tom) Hardy, Charlie Cox; D: Matthew Parkhill; W: Matthew Parkhill; C: Alfonso Beato; M: Javier Navar-rete.
