An other legal thriller from the Grisham facto ry. Reggie Love (Sarandon) is a troubled attorney hired by 11yearold Mark (Renfro), who witnessed the suicide of a Mafia attorney and now knows more than he should. Ambitious federal prosecutor Foltrigg's (Jones) willing to risk the boy's life in exchange for career advancement. Lacks the megabig Hollywood names of “The Firm” and “The Pelican Brief” but gains solid acting in return with Renfro a find in his film debut. No frills, nearfaithful adaptation by Schumacher basically trav els down the path of least resistance. Filmed on location in Memphis. 121m/C VHS, DVD .
