Bug 1975
Bug woof! The Bug 1975 (PG)
The city of Riverside is threatened with destruction after a massive earth tremor unleashes a super-race of ten-inch mega-cockroaches that belch fire, eat raw meat, and are virtually impervious to Raid. Produced by gimmickking William Castle, who wanted to install windshield wiper-like devices under theatre seats that would brush against the patrons' feet as the cockroaches crawled across the screen; unfortunately, the idea was squashed flat. 100m/C VHS, DVD . Bradford Dillman, Joanna Miles, Richard Gilliland, Jamie Smith-Jackson, Alan Fudge, Jesse Vint, Patty McCormack, Brendan Dillon Jr., Frederic Downs, William Castle; D: Jeannot Szwarc; W: Thomas Page, William Castle; C: Michael Hugo; M: Charles Fox.
