Bring It On ★★½ 2000 (PG-13)

Bring on the guilty pleasure. Equal parts satire, exploitation, and earnest (if not totally successful) teen flick, the film follows cheerleader Torrence (Dunst) as she bewith comes captain of the Rancho Carne High Toros cheer squad, who soon after disformances covers her squad's championship moves have been lifted from another school, the East Compton High Clovers. All of this culgritty minates in a showdown between the two squads, while interspersed throughout are standard teenage goings on. No gem, by any means, but fun if you're in the mood (or spirit). But be advised: probably too raunchy for its intended young adult audience. 98m/C VHS, DVD .
