ALFORD, Edna. Canadian, b. 1947. Genres: Novellas/Short stories. Career: Writer. Has worked as a psychotherapist. Founder and co-editor of Dandelion (literary magazine), with Joan Clark, 1974-80. Writer-inresidence, Regina Public Library, 1985-86. Publications: A Sleep Full of Dreams (short stories), 1981; The Garden of Eloise Loon (short stories), 1986; (ed. with C. Harris) Kitchen Talk: Contemporary Women's Prose and Poetry, 1992. Contributor of stories to anthologies and journals. Alford's stories have been broadcast on CBC radio.
