Agnes de Nevers (r. 1181–1192)

Countess and ruler of Nevers. Reigned from 1181 to 1192; married Pierre de Courtenay; children: Mahaut de Courtenay (r. 1192–1257).

Succeeding Count Guillaume V, also known as William V, Agnes de Nevers became the ruler of Nevers, located in central France, in 1181. Her daughter Mahaut de Courtenay succeeded her in 1192.
