Made stage debut with Otis Skinner's company and Broadway debut in The New Poor (1924); appeared in other plays such as Cross Roads, The Ladder, Dancing Partner, Accent on Youth and The First Apple; films include Just a Gigolo, Man in Possession and The Passionate Plumber; retired (1941).
