Made NY stage debut in Little Women (1920); had successful Broadway career in such plays as Happy Go Lucky, The Mountain Man, Trelawny of the Wells and The Play's the Thing; films include His Glorious Night (with John Gilbert), The Rogue Song, Born Reckless, Forbidden Woman, Behind Office Doors and Such Men Are Dangerous.
