Ferrarese noblewoman. Name variations: Leonora di Savoia; Leonora d'Este. Flourished around 1200; second wife of Azo also known as Azzo VI d'Este (1170–1212), first lord of Ferrara (r. 1208–1212); children: Beata Beatrice I d'Este (d. 1226). Azzo's first wife was a woman of the Aldobrandeschi (name unknown) who gave birth to Aldobrandino I d'Este (d. 1215); his third wife was Alisia of Antioch , the mother of Azzo VII Novello (d. 1264).
