English philanthropist and baroness. Name variations: Lady Kinnaird; Mrs. Arthur Kinnaird. Born Mary Jane Hoare, 1816, at Northwick Park, Northamptonshire; died 1888; m. Arthur Fitzgerald Kinnaird, 10th baron Kinnaird (1814–1887, philanthropist).
Edited Servants Prayers (1849); along with Lady Canning, sent aid to the wounded in the Crimea; with Emma Robarts and others, was one of the founders of Young Women's Christian Association.
