Jones, Elizabeth Marina (1926–)
Welsh murderer. Name variations: (stage name) Georgina Grayson. Born 1926 in Wales.
At 18, worked as striptease artist in London and wanted to do "something exciting"; with Karl Hulten, an American GI, got into cab of cleft-chinned driver, George Edward Heath (Oct 7, 1944), whom Hulten shot in the back; at Old Bailey, found guilty and sentenced to death (Jan 1945); though Hulten was hanged for the crime (Mar 8, 1945), was reprieved; released at age 27 (Jan 1954). Known as the Cleft Chin murder, the case caused a national furor.
